Borders Arts Collective

The Borders Arts Collective was founded in Walkerburn in 2021 by Peta Trousdell to bring together artists and makers from the Tweed Valley and beyond. It is now run by Helen McIntyre & Dr Melanie Phillips. We are a voluntary, not-for-profit, organisation.

Our aim is to make the arts accessible for all – by organising artist-led, inclusive, diverse and affordable workshops, classes and events to be held in the local area. And to promote mental health and well-being. We hope to inspire a community of people to make new social connections, learn new skills and find inspiration for new artistic projects and initiatives.

Whether you have a passion for art, music, sculpture, crafts, drama, there is a place for that here.
