Sarah Long
Sarah trained in BA hons Art and Design at Bretton hall.
Working full time as an organic gardener Sarah does art and crafts for the love of it. Mainly working in oils, acrylic and pastels as a medium she paints animals, she also loves exploring many crafts and currently creates stain glass, mosaics and metal clay jewellery. Stone painting developed out of a local women’s group creating painted stones as gifts for the land, each other and altar pieces.
Starting with a sharing circle and choosing of an oracle card.
We will create a slate icon to take home as an altar piece or wall hanging based on a Divine feminine figure of your choice. There will be chance to do more than one piece on slate and on river stones depending on your own speed. Whilst one is drying you will work on an alternative painting. Sarah will bring a selection of her own work for inspiration and oracle cards and images for you to use.
