Pastel making with earth and plant pigments
In this workshop participants will first learn how to process wild foraged earth pigments from the borders and beyond before learning the ratio and types of binders needed to transform the pigments into soft pastels. This will include learning about the types of pigments from plants that can also be used to increase the range of colour possibilities.
By the end of the workshop, participants will have plenty of soft pastels to take home, as well as comprehensive notes to continue on with their pastel making journey.
