An introduction to Lino Printing

Participants learn’t how to carve and print using Lino.
The technique can be used successfully with either complex or very simple lino cuts, so all levels of experience were welcome.
Needlefelted Christmas Baubles

Participants created Christmas tree baubles from wool felt, ribbon, beads and threads. Participants will learn basic needle felting technique and easy decorative embroidery stitches.
Copper foil birds –

Participants learn’t to cut glass, apply copper foil and solder pieces of glass together to make a bird decoration. By the end of the workshop each participant had created a glass bird to take home.

Two-part vase making pottery workshop with Alison Tait, artist and experienced teacher, working in the Scottish Borders. Learn’t how to make a pottery vase decorated with textures of plants and other found objects. Then returned to decorate with underglaze colours, painted into and around the texture.
